Intro...

Hi everyone....
This is a blog. I don't know about what yet, but it will be interesting regardless.
Here are a few thoughts...

I woke up this morning, anxious. COFFEE PLEASE!! Ate cereal right out of the box. Even more anxious. Decided to make a wheat grass smoothie. How is it that feeding your body the right things can be calming? Then I sat down at my computer for a moment of contemplation and reflection. I was reflecting on how yesterday went and contemplating on how I want today to go.
Yesterday I felt anxious. Lots of negative self talk. But I smiled all day and tried to ignore my self critical mind. At the end of the day I was exhausted from fighting with myself. So, today I will focus on maintaining a positive attitude and not let my critical self consume my thinking.

We should all say something positive to ourselves every morning to get started on the right foot. Life is too short to treat yourself badly. A constant struggle with negative self criticism is exhausting. Lets all get over trying to be perfect and focus on acceptance and happiness. Reflect on the good times of yesterday. Realize that this moment is only what you make of it. Look forward, with excitement, to the new opportunities the future holds.
